Our Live Music Evening was fantastic! A great turn out of local's who were treated to a night of original and inspiring music. Gordon Smith shared his unique "mountain blues from the Matuki Delta" and we were left feeling grateful to live in such a wonderful part of the world. Roaring Meg shared their traditional Irish gigs and reels with enthusiasm and flair, and as one twelve year old girl said "this music makes me feel so happy!" Michaela Ball captivated us with her quirky, honest lyrics and beautiful voice, an uplifting treat to end the evening with.
Big thanks to John of Pembroke Wines for the venue and his warm hospitality, and to all those who came and supported this fundraising event :-)

We met up with a really friendly Irish couple resting up and enjoying lunch and very proud of the fact that they were now several hundred metres higher than the highest point in Ireland.
The wind on the ridge was biting cold but guess...
